Taekwondo Chest Guard: WT-Approved vs Training

The chest guard is the one taekwondo protector that works as both safety gear and scoring equipment. This guide compares WT-approved and training-grade chest guards across four checks you can run on the spot - certification scope, structure and padding, sizing and fit, and electronic-protector compatibility - then shows dojangs and dealers how to plan size ratios and cut dead stock.

Taekwondo Dobok Fabric & Cut: Kyorugi, Poomsae, Standard

On the same training mat you will usually see three dobok styles at once: the slimmer kyorugi cut, the structured poomsae cut and the standard training cut. All are white with black trim, yet their weave, weight and tailoring differ. This guide sorts dobok into four use-based categories, walks through four fabric checks you can run on the spot, and shows dojangs and dealers how to plan size ratios.

Electronic Protector Gear Setup: Pre-Match Checklist

Electronic protectors turned taekwondo gear from safety equipment into competition equipment. Which items the organiser provides, which the athlete must bring, and which must pass a WT-recognition check at inspection all decide whether a competitor makes it onto the mat. Four steps, plus a checklist for dojangs and athletes.

Winter Taekwondo Training Gear: Layering & Dobok Guide

When the temperature drops, every dojo faces the same question: how much should athletes wear? This guide splits winter taekwondo gear into three adjustable layers - base, mid and outer - covering selection logic, sizing and colour options, dojo bulk-buy ratios, and three practical points for training in the cold.

EXTERA 6 vs MTX 2: Choosing the Right Taekwondo Dobok

Both are MOOTO black-neck dobok, but EXTERA 6 and MTX 2 serve different jobs: one for competitive kyorugi and major events, one for daily training from kids to adults. This guide compares certification, size coverage, neck-line versions and price band, with a bulk-purchase checklist for dojangs and dealers.

Taekwondo Shoe Guide: Grip vs Breathability

Taekwondo shoes are one of the most underrated pieces of gear: grip on competition floors, breathability during long sessions and sizing all affect how you move. This guide starts from two needs - grip and breathability - and walks through outsoles, uppers, sizing, socks and care, so athletes and dojo buyers get it right the first time.

Kids' Dobok Buying Guide: Sizing & Progression

Kids outgrow doboks fast, sweat more and train often - buying for them differs from buying for adults. This guide covers kids-specific fits, height-based sizing, growth allowance and belt-progression tips, plus checklists for parents and dojangs.

WT-Approved Dobok Guide: What Certification Really Means

What does the WT approval mark on a dobok actually mean? Behind it are hard indicators - fabric weight, stretch, fit freedom and craftsmanship. This guide explains the certification logic, the real differences between approved and training-grade dobok, and how to choose by wearer, use case and budget.

Taekwondo Belt Guide: Ranking Order & How to Tie

The belt is the first piece of taekwondo gear a student owns - and the easiest to overlook. From white to black, its color tracks your rank progression, and a properly tied belt marks the start of discipline and safety awareness. This guide explains the ranking order, belt color meanings and the standard double-loop knot, with buying tips for length and material.

Taekwondo Protector Buying Guide: Full Set Explained

Protectors are the safety baseline of taekwondo sparring and competition. This guide breaks down hand, chest, head and mouth guards one by one - WT-certified vs training grade, sizing logic and kids' gear - with three full-set configurations from beginner to competitive level.

Taekwondo Dobok Size Guide: From Kids to Adults, Find Your Perfect Fit

Picking the wrong dobok size is the most common frustration for beginners. Based on years of global sales data, this guide breaks down the height-to-size mapping and explains the fit differences between WT-certified and training uniforms.
